Concrete Hardening and Dustproofing

Concrete hardening and dustproofing also known as densifying is a treatment process that strengthens concrete floors from within. It involves applying a liquid chemical hardener (commonly a silicate-based solution) that penetrates the surface and reacts with free lime (calcium hydroxide) in the concrete.

The Importance of Concrete Hardening and Dustproofing

  • Enhances the long-term performance and strength of your concrete surfaces.
  • Demonstrates the use of advanced treatment methods that improve durability.
  • Protects your investment by strengthening existing concrete from within.
  • Creates a harder surface that resists wear and surface deterioration.
  • Reduces dusting from untreated concrete floors.
  • Improves overall surface integrity in high-traffic or industrial areas.
  • Forms additional calcium silicate hydrate (CSH), the compound responsible for concrete strength.
  • Produces a denser, harder surface structure.
  • Increases durability and resistance to surface wear.
  • Extends the service life of your concrete.

CONCRETE DENSIFICATION

A concrete densifier is a chemical treatment that penetrates the surface and reacts with the concrete to increase its hardness and durability. This process strengthens the concrete from within, reducing surface dusting and improving resistance to abrasion and wear.

CONCRETE SEALING

Concrete sealing protects the surface by reducing dust, limiting moisture penetration, and preventing stains and wear. This protective layer helps extend the lifespan of the concrete and simplifies ongoing maintenance.

Our Process

Once you submit a request for a quote to us, your inquiry will be given to one of our qualified estimators to let you know they received your request and they will be getting back to you within a certain timeline or request further documents if needed. If the project requires a site visit before providing a quote, they will schedule that with you upon receiving your request.

After receiving approval on the proposed quote, our operations team will begin internally to schedule and plan your project to meet your timeline.

You will be assigned a project manager who will oversee all steps, start to finish on your project and be available to discuss the project with you at any time.
